drag lifts in La Thuile

Hi.. looking to come to La Thule but one of our group really dislikes/struggles with drag lifts. Is it possible to still enjoy the skiing whilst avoiding the drags?

I understand that there is a long one back from La Rossiere and so is there any other way back? Ie bus or taxi?
